About Boxo

Disposable email, simple and instant.

Boxo gives you a temporary email address in an instant, so you can receive a code or a link without exposing your real inbox to spam. No sign-up, no setup.

Our mission

To protect you from spam and data leaks. Many sites demand an email just for a download : give them a Boxo address rather than your own.

What Boxo offers

Boxo gives you a disposable, receive-only email address in one click. Messages appear within seconds and disappear from the inbox after 3 hours; each address keeps at most its 50 latest messages. To go further, our practical guides:

• How to spot a phishing email: the telltale signs
• Stop spam: the methods that actually work
• How to secure your email account: the complete guide
• Disposable email address: when to use one, when to avoid it
• Your email address was in a data breach: what to do, in order
• Email aliases: one address per site to stay in control

How Boxo keeps reading safe

• Email content is cleaned before display: scripts, forms and booby-trapped elements are removed.
• Links stay clickable but open without passing any information about Boxo to the destination site.
• Service addresses such as contact@ are never readable in the public inbox.
• A Boxo address has no password: anyone who knows it can read its messages. Never use it for an important account.

Our commitments

• No sign-up, no real address required.
• Messages permanently erased within 24 hours.
• No resale or sharing of addresses or messages.
• Anonymous visitor statistics, with no tracking cookies.

How is it funded ?

Boxo is free, funded by unobtrusive advertising that covers the server costs.
